The Khmer Kampuchea-Krom Association of South Australia Inc. (KKASA) with the support of the Government of South Australia will be presenting a one day leadership workshop for Khmer youths in South Australia.
What is This About?
The KKASA understands there is a generation gap exists between the youths and the adults within our community and seek to bridge the gap, empowering youths to understand about their community and culture and history.
The workshop aims to achieve:
- Connecting you to other youths.
- Inspiring you to reach your highest potential
- Providing you an understanding of our culture and history
- Supporting you to gain the knowledge and skills
What's Involved?
As a participation you will get a chance to meet and work with other Khmer youths in South Australia to participate in leadership activities, discuss youth issues, and develop important network. Activities include:
- Learning about our culture and history
- Share experience in understanding about Khmer Krom situations and discussions
- Participate in sporting activities including introduction to Khmer traditional games
- Cooking lesson
- Participate in indoor sporting activities
- Learn about writing resume and career pathways
- and much more!

Saturday 19th March 2011, starting at 10am to 4pm at the Enfield Community Centre, 540 Regency Rd, Enfield SA 5085
